Synopsis
When fiercely idealistic law student Maya Vance takes on an unwinnable case to save a local community center, she is forced to co-chair the defense with her cynical academic rival, Julian Hayes. As they build their case, a deep romance blooms, but a devastating legal trick by the very lawyer who ruined Maya's childhood threatens to destroy their case, their relationship, and her faith in the law.
