The River Card

Leo Rossi's first official assignment is to babysit the Family's most notorious loser, Dante Vargo, during a high-stakes poker game in a Brooklyn basement. When Dante's reckless gambling results in a massive, miraculous win against rival Irish mobsters, the celebration is cut short. Cornered in a rain-slicked alley, Leo must transition from observer to protector, discovering that in the mafia, luck is just as dangerous as a loaded gun.
