Synopsis
Under the hood of a rusted Chevy in the Blackridge High auto shop, Kade thinks he has finally outrun the smell of ash and iron that defined his childhood in the camps. But when a pep rally is interrupted by the arrival of Elara, a girl who knows his serial number rather than his name, Kade is dragged back into a war he swore to abandon. With the school administration revealed to be a front for his former captors, Kade must protect Elara through a deadly game of cat-and-mouse that leads from the football field to the terrifying depths of the boiler room.
