Synopsis
Cole is a stoic, "old school" werewolf bodyguard who takes his job deadly seriously, feeling threatened by the casual arrogance of the younger generation. Riax is his rival from a competing security firm, a flashy mercenary in the convoy's lead car who prefers taunting Cole via text message over using standard radio protocol.
Stuck in gridlock deep inside the Lincoln Tunnel, Cole fights to keep his nerves steady while protecting a high-value diplomat. But when the tunnel lights cut out and a pack of rogue wolves drops from the maintenance catwalks, the secure radio channels fail, leaving Cole's buzzing smartphone and his rival's snarky texts as the only lifeline between life and death.
