The Gate of Iron and Bone

As the curfew bells ring across the claustrophobic streets of Varen's Hold, Thomas stands guard at the West Gate, watching for monsters. But the monster he fears most arrives in the form of his lover, Isolde, who is hours away from a violent transformation.
