Static in the Neon Rain

Val performs the ritual of the "Elevator Game" in a condemned Seattle warehouse, seeking the mythic Echo Zone. When the elevator crashes upwards into a world of violet skies and fluid gravity, she finds herself torn between the intoxicating power offered by the Zone's Prince, Caspian, and the desperate, grounding voice of Elias in her ear. But as the Zone begins to rewrite her mind, Val discovers that the Prince is looking for a replacement, not a queen.
