Synopsis
Elara is a devoted heiress who believes her love has reformed her childhood friend and arranged husband, Julian. Julian, however, is a desperate, compulsive gambler who has reached the end of his luck. Victor, a menacing mutual acquaintance, arrives to collect on a debt that money alone cannot satisfy.
In a high-security casino penthouse, Elara frantically packs a suitcase, believing she and Julian are fleeing the country to escape his creditors and start a new life together. Blinded by the romance of their "us against the world" escape, she fails to notice that Julian isn't packing—he is waiting for the man who won the final hand.
